In February 1983, Mr Hussein Machmouchi founded a trading company, operating as a sub-agent for the South and the Beqaa.

In 1991, the business activities expanded. Nouvelle Pharm drugstore was founded and the company started to distribute pharmaceutical products all around the Lebanese territory.

In November 1997, Nouvelle pharm has grown into one of the leading local pharmaceutical distributors with 54% of total wholesale pharmaceutical business.

In 2001, Bellapharma was acquired. The company provides sales and marketing services to its suppliers.

In 2003, New Nouvelle Pharm distribution channel has expanded and offered a delivery of 4 times daily in central areas and 2 times daily for rural areas.

In 2006, as part of our social responsibilities, New Nouvelle Pharm was the only pharmaceutical company that committed to distribute pharmaceutical products all around Lebanon during the war that lasted for 33 days.

In 2009, the Holding acquired Pharmanet, the agent of Julphar Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries (UAE).

In 2018, Picomed was founded to represent Pharma International Company (Jordan) in Lebanon.

In 2021, the company relocated to an eco-friendly self-sustainable headquarters with 25,000 m² of warehousing facilities.
